My seven month old has been using Aquaphor since he was a newborn. He has incredibly sensitive skin, and when I made the mistake of using baby lotion on him shortly after he was born, he cried because the alcohol in the formula was burning his skin. His pediatrician touted the benefits of aquaphor very strongly, so I purchased some and tried it.We’ve never looked back since. For us, it’s a blessing. Not only does it keep his skin hydrated when it’s prone to drying out with egsema, but it is easy to spread, does not hurt him or smell offensive or perfumed, and it works. He’s so soft, all the time.I spread this on him every night after his bath, and it lasts through the night and all the next day until it’s time to do it again. It also blends well with baby oil for parents who use it, and loses none of its hydrating properties if you’d like to add some simple oil over the aquaphor to lend baby that powdery scent. I’ve used this aquaphor plus baby oil in a mixture for myself as well.If you need a formula for your sensitive skinned baby, this is it. You can use it on his or her lips as well in lieu of lip balm. It’s well worth the price, and a little does go a long way because of the formula’s thickness. I’d rate it ten out of ten for our family if I could. For us, it’s magic, and we will always use it.

I really didn’t want to like Aquaphor. It’s expensive and the consistency is thick, which can be difficult to work with. However. It is simply the best. Whenever my baby has had a diaper rash, washing with soap and warm water after every diaper change + slathering baby’s bottom with Aquaphor was the best solution. If I notice any sort of redness in the diaper area, I put a little Aquaphor on and it’s gone by the next diaper change. Aquaphor leaves my baby’s skin soft and supple, free of rash, redness and irritation. I’ve tried them all — Desitin, Boudreaux’s, A&D, Vaseline, Burt’s Bees — Aquaphor takes the cake everytime. Tip: I use the BabyBumCo diaper spatula to apply this to my baby’s diaper area. No mess and hands free!

Use this on my baby’s butt every time we change her and so far for 4 months, we only had 1 diaper rash happened. We applied a slightly thicker layer and made sure to cover all spots and the rash went away on its own after a few days. My husband applied this pretty generously and a jar lasted about 6 weeks for us. When my baby had rosy cheeks in cold weather, we also use this on her cheeks and her skin went back to soft and smooth quickly.

Chapped baby butt? Aquaphor! Chapped hands in winter? Aquaphor. Chapped baby cheeks? Baby rash? Skin doing weird stuff? Just dry? Hair staticky? Need chapstick? I’m telling you, you can use this for everything! I love it so much that I got another one to keep at baby’s daycare. If your baby has diaper rash and it’s not fungal or yeast or anything, try this with baby powder on top. Guarantee it will go away.

We love it I use it for everything ! I used it when my son had nearly a 3rd degree burn( Dr recommended) he was lucky enough to have zero scaring ! I also use this for eczema and diaper rashes ! Anytime my children have a stomach bug I apply this as a barrier and it helps! I also use this for sun burn on myself my husband works outside on the winter we use it for his chapped hands and my daughters face when she has a cold and her face gets chapped.

I use this as the barrior cream on my baby and her skin is soft and beautifull. Actual barrior creams in cluding aquaphor causes her skin to strip. Not sire whatsup woth that but this works great.

Our little one has great skin for a baby, but has battled with dry skin patches all over. We have slathered this stuff on him since the patches started and it’s never progressed to eczema and he’s 8 months old now!! We make him “slippery like a fish” per the pediatrician’s instructions and within about 4-5 days, the patches are completely gone. After baths, we use a light layer, and thicker layer when new patches appear. Convinced this stuff will solve any baby skin problem! I also coat my dry over-washed mom hands in it, and it helps a ton!

I only use this because I have a Malassezia overgrowth and almost every moisturizing lotion has several lipids in the ingredients. And since lipids are the only source of food for Malassezia. It’s really thick and doesn’t just rub into your skin like most moisturizers. And it is very hydrophobic so if your hands or body are wet it just smears around. It feels like it seals your skin and locks any moisture into your skin….

I’m from Europe and my mom had given me all deferent type of way more organic creams for rushes but nothing worked as well as aquaphor. Now I’m the one that brings this cream to everyone at home when I go. All moms love it

Aquaphor was recommended to my sister by her dermatologist. She said I should try it a couple of years ago, and I’ve used it since. Initially, I purchased it locally until I found it here on Amazon. It doesn’t have much, if any, aroma. I use it for neuropathy by applying heavy amounts to my toes and legs with amazing results. It does eliminate much of the discomfort.
