My second (or third) Bissell. I got this “2252 CleanView Swivel Upright Bagless” after my other Bissell bagless, the bagless part broke so I had to get a new one asap! I have a Big 75 lb hairy GSD girl that sheds ALOT and brings in dirt from outside.Having another Bissell I was pretty used to using one, but this one has the swivel, my other one did not have so that is new, also, an triangular hair thingy for corners/stairs, I have no idea how it hooks onto the vacuum for storage & don’t see it anywhere, but they talk about it alot :)Anyway, the vacuum, itself, works really well, which I’ve come to expect of Bissell & it’s very easy to clean, just like I’ve come to expect, and the price is also good, which I’ve come to expect! So I’m very happy with it, I would like to know WHERE the Triangle thingy hangs on this and see how it is used, which nobody shows it, in the numerous videos I’ve watched? This is an awesome vacuum and great price, and they are generally built tough, and last many years.Good product. Bissell website itself, is REALLY BUGGY & awful! I tried to order from there and COULDN’t!Bissell should fix their website! I didn’t even GO THERE To REGISTER this b/c It’s SO flippin’ bad there!Fix your website! So I came here to Amazon and shop & look for the machine I want. The Bissell website is Horrible!

I have rescued quiet a few cats recently and they are in the process of getting adopted out. I currently have 7 cats and 2 dogs. My house is over 2,000 sq ft. about half is carpeted and I have stairs. I was a bit nervous about the vacuum after reading some of the reviews (and I know that sometimes you just get a lemon). However, dealing with the amount of animals I have, the fur, liter, etc. I think this is an amazing vacuum – I have had it for over a month now vacuuming about 3 times a week. Some suggestions/observations:I would buy an extra vacuum belt – I could see where you would need it if you are harder on vacuums (I have not had any issues though).Make sure you clean the vacuum – the bristles are going to collect hair even with the technology it has – that is like saying a person’s hair brush isn’t going to collect hair (especially big clumps of fur). If you have furrier animals especially when they are shedding, make sure you are checking the bristles and cleaning out the extra hair maybe do a thorough cleaning every few months to prevent clogs, wearing out the belt, etc. – basic maintenanceIt works pretty well on tile/wood floors – but I think a handheld or a stick vacuums would be better for thatVery easy to take apart, clean, and put back togetherMake sure you turn the dial for the right carpet pile so it is getting everything it needs to and not being strained

Me: 2 Pugs, Mostly hard surface floors, with carpet in bedrooms and large 9×12 area rug in living room. I sweep hard surfaces daily if needed and vacuum carpet/rugs weekly. My S___k vacuum has been on the brink for about a month, but last weekend it basically went kaput. I vacuum the carpeted areas each week. For the past month I noticed the old vac wasn’t doing its job and started shopping. The Bissel gets great reviews and it’s got a nice price. In addition, I bought an Uproot fabric tool for pet hair – it arrived the day before the vac did. I did a thorough combing with the Uproot the night before with amazing results just with that.Next day the vac comes, we tear the box apart we’re so excited, and we get it setup. Very quick and easy.I turn it on and the difference in suction power from the S___k is immediate. It’s crazy how much more power this has.The results speak for themselves. Photo 1 is after the 1st pass on the rug. I wanted to keep going so I did a 2nd pass. That’s Photo 2.I was initially embarassed to share photos, but how else can people confirm this is a solid purchase? I can’t believe this was hiding in my rug…ewwww.I read reviews of a burning odor – I didn’t smell anything “off” when using the vac.JUST BUY IT.

I’ve only owned this product for a couple days so cannot speak to its durability or longevity. My sister recommended a Dyson but I didn’t want to spend 4 or 5 hundred dollars but I didn’t want a total cheapie either. Assembly was easy, although the instruction manual was mandatory. It was easy to use, it was easy to maneuver despite being somewhat heavy. I don’t have stairs so I can’t speak to that and I don’t own a pet so the pet-friendly features will likely go unused. I am a bachelor who lives in a small apartment and I hadn’t owned a vacuum for the first 22 months living there so the dirt tank got FULL. I rated suction a 5 because it seemed completely sufficient for me and I only had it on the medium setting. Overall, I am pleased so far with the product and it serves my purposes well.

I have purchased and used multiple vacuum cleaners over the last 20 years and this unit is by far, the absolute BEST for removing pet hair. Not just using the brush head to thin it out and cover it with the carpet fibers only to reappear again in a few days after adequate foot traffic has brought it back to the surface. Not going to happen with this vacuum. It actually REMOVES ALL PET hair from my carpets every time I use this thing. It’s amazing ! My last vacuum was an extremely high powered, self propelled TOP of the line (super expensive) model that I won’t say the manufacturer’s name and while it did an outstanding job on dirt, suffice to say it was terrible when it came to pet hair. I would have to run it back & forth over areas up to 10-14 times to get the hair to disappear which was time consuming and frustrating. Come to find out, all it really did was thin out the hair and spread it through my carpet. The first time I used this new vacuum, I was removing so much pet hair that I had to empty the container 4-5 times per room…….YIKES. I have a long haired white cat, yup – one of the WORST for shedding and very visible on my carpets. I’ve been so impressed with this new vacuum that I keep telling everyone I know that have pets to get one lol.My only negative is that the roller brush head seems under powered at times as you can hear what to me sounds like bogging down/losing power. It doesn’t seem to effect the performance, at least not that I can tell but one never knows. Oh yeah, and it doesn’t offer a headlight, not the end of the world.I HIGHLY recommend and would buy again if needed.I purchased this vacuum with my own money and offer this honest review in hopes that it can help others. Stay safe everyone.

I purchased this vacuum after reading many reviews. With all the positivity I went ahead and ordered it. The first time I vacuumed my living room area where the dog always lays (and likes to roll around on the carpet), I was amazed at how much dog hair was trapped inside!! I had just vacuumed that area the day before (with an old vacuum cleaner) and the suction power was like night and day. My daughter also loves it to get all the dog hair off of the stairs especially using the attachments. Everyone has given the thumbs up on this purchase! I definitely recommend it

This is the most amazing suction vacuum I’ve ever used! Always a Bissell product fan, this machine exceeds expectations for its weight, maneuverability and suction. I cannot believe how much this machine sucks up every time. I vacuum 1-2x a week and although I have pets they shed mildly yet this machine suctions up carpet fibers that have made allergies so much better in our house that used to get trapped in carpet fibers. I love vacuuming now seeing how much it’s getting. One of my favorite features is how easy it is to take apart and clean each part. I also love the length of the cord (longer than other vacuums), and the side bristles that makes sure to get all the way to the baseboards. If you have pets, this machine is a MUST!

I was pleasantly surprised yet a little disconcerted that it picked up so much cat hair and dirt/dust with just the first use. I couldn’t believe all that was still in my carpet after vacuuming with my old Bissell! Vacuuming stairs is still pretty tricky but not bad since it is lighter than my previous vacuum. The collection bin could be better in terms of ease of use but I love how well it cleans so that it is something I can live with.

I’ve never seen anything like it. We have a Roomba that runs daily, but we had an Electrolux vacuum that we used before guests came. It came with a really small bag, so we ended up getting rid of it and I started shopping around. Everyone recommended a Dyson, but my parent have one and I never came away impressed enough to warrant the price of a Dyson. Took a gamble on this vacuum and am 100% blown away. The amount of pet hair that must be on our rugs that we don’t see is astonishing (and gross, really). The first time we used this on our rugs, the canister was nearly half full by the time we were done.I saw other reviews that said the beater bar seized and it smelled like burned rubber, but I think they either had the height set too low or they weren’t paying enough attention. 100% worth the price.
