Works pretty well.
I don’t think this product is a miracle but it thus far seems pretty effective overall. I just got this with the little portable Bissel rug cleaner machine and the combo is working pretty well. I’m going to try some other brands then maybe update this when I have more for comparison. So far pretty decent.

When you see the bottle saying “pet stain & odor” I expected it to at least smell ok but it doesn’t – when you open the bottle it really stinks (enzymes???). Yes it works great on removing the stain and it neutralized the original odor (dog puke) but it would be nice if it left a somewhat pleasant smell behind. I feel bad giving it 4 stars since it works great but the smell of the liquid is just yukky. Maybe I bought the wrong thing????

Good product/Solution to be used in our Brissell pet stain remover vacuum

Must have with a vomiting cat.
I have two cats, one of whom vomits regularly. This solution with a Bissell Spot Bot has saved the carpet in my home. After picking up most of the vomit with a tissue, I’ll use the spot bot with the solution on deep clean. It gets everything up, and removes all odors and stains. It even works with vomit that was left to dry. Sometimes, my cat will vomit in places where I don’t see it right away. Despite it sitting there for days, this solution and spot bot will clean the area just as good as if I got to it right away.I also appreciate the mild scent of this product. I have tried other formulas from Bissell, and this one smells the best.Note: The spot bot does leave a fair amount of solution behind. I use the solution on deep clean to get the vomit up. Then, I will put plain water in the tank and run a quick clean. Afterward, I will use the hose to get any residual liquid from my carpet.

Have to use a few times
I mainly bought this to use with the Bissel vacuum on my couch, because of my dog. At first I thought it wasn’t working, but it turns out I just needed to fully saturate the area and go over it a few (or more) times. While it does work overall, I wish it was a lot quicker and easier.

For regular stains this product is great. I had blood stains and daughter had the same product except it had oxy in it and that really took out the stain.

My rescue pomeranian is old… (13) and never has been potty trained. As much as I try, I am not sure he will ever be fully trained. He has peed on my couch a couple of times and I use my little green machine to clean it up. The original cleaning material wasn’t doing the job, so I got this product and it worked so well! The scent immediately came out of my couch and the couch smelled cleaned and fresh. Worth the buy if you have a dog that pees inside on carpet, couch, etc and you need a deep clean

Poop Stain Perfection!
Let me preface this by saying I have two dogs, two young kids and a husband. None of them can see a stain or a spot, apparently I am the only one with this super power. One of our dogs is older and he tends to have accidents in the house. These accidents are never on the hardwood they are always on the carpet. Through the years we have worn out three spot bots, no joke, three of them. I am a loyal Bissell SpotBot fan, however, I had no idea how amazing this formula was until this morning. One of my dogs’ butts exploded and it was like the gift that keeps on giving. Not that you want to read this but it was in festive colors like reds and greens. The green came out easily but the red stained our beige carpet. After cleaning the area for almost 2 hours, I still could not get that red out. I decided to pour this directly onto the spots. I literally watch the spots dissolve away. Not the carpet, the red spots. I honestly didn’t think this stuff worked so well. If you have stains that will not come out I’m up at seen or otherwise, I highly recommend trying this. I also hope that if you need it, it’s not for the same reason I did.

I use this in my Bissell spot cleaner vacuum. It works great cleaning up cat barf and accidents from the other end of the cat as well 🙂 And then last week this formula got put to the test when I used it to clean up the mess I made by spilling my FULL GLASS of berry smoothie. Simply put, it works.

Let’s start off by saying I have 3 dogs. Yup, three: small, medium and large. Medium is a little older, and very lazy, and will occasionally have a carpet accident (why you can’t just pee on the hardwood or tile sections of the house that are easier to clean is beyond me; we need to have a talk). Small, who was fostered in a home that used pee pads that just encouraged him to pee in the house and whom I have been trying to break of this habit ever since, will mark if he sees that Medium has peed. Good times. So, I have one section of one room in particular that depresses my soul and needs to be cleaned every couple of months with a rented steam cleaner.I bought the Bissell Little Green ProHeat Compact Multi-Pupose Carpet Cleaner, and although it comes with cleaning solution, I decided to add the pet-specific formula to my cart. Glad I did so. Large is our latest rescue, and although she was generally healthy, surprisingly, given her situation, she did need to be dewormed. She was scheduled for her last round of pills the same week she got sick. Really sick. Stop reading if general grossness and bodily fluids from all orifices disgusts you. But if you’re reading carpet steamer and pet stain reviews, you likely have some of the same issues, amiright? She was throwing up, diarrhea, and finally, blood in both of those. Uncontrollable. She got the wall to wall carpeting, plus 2 area rugs (plus wood and tile, but tg I have a steam mop for those areas), all in multiple areas. And you can probably guess by the 5 star review, but the steamer and this solution got them all out. First try. No marks, residue, nothing. It’s like it never happened (except to my retinas, which can never unsee such things). I will also mention that most of this cleanup happened at approximately 4am, when no one is in their right mind, and even given that and my skills at that hour, It. Is. All. Gone. (sidenote: Large ended up in the hospital with so many different kind of worms, all of the worms, but is fine now. And we love her, so we were not mad about the carpet steamer test).So, in a nutshell, I would recommend this solution. A thousand times yes.

Follow the ratio instructions. Seriously, follow the ratio instructions on your machine, exactly. Use a pre-treatment (Zep urine spray) if you don’t feel like it will be enough.This completely removed 3 week old urine scent from area carpets. This is the one.

Great on fresh accidents/spills
I wish I had purchased this before we got our puppy – it would have helped us eliminate all those accidents up immediately. This handheld vac is super easy to use: make sure it’s charged, add the solution, spray, scrub, suck it all up. It really works on fresh dog pee in the carpet, and therefore prevents your carpet/couch smelling like old dog pee, which is a LOT more difficult to get out.I initially purchased it to try to get the smell of dog pee out of our couch (somehow bottles of Nature’s Miracle didn’t do the trick), and after several passes it seems to have helped a bit, but I think it’s going to take quite a few more.Anyway: pros and cons:Pros: really great on fresh accidents (whether pet messes or other spills) and prevents stains and lingering odors, works on carpets and couches, super easy to use, keep clean, and store away.Cons: not great with eliminating old pet-related odors (although I haven’t tried subbing the solution with vinegar and water, that might work), goes through the solution really, really fast (if you have a puppy you will go through bottles of this), and only holds a charge for 20-30 mins max.Recap: buy for preventative care, great for immediate use on spills, not for large surfaces or prolonged use.

Best cleaner ever!
I have been using this for about 18 months and it is a lifesaver. I have a small poodle who likes to eat various items. He has gotten sick and had the runs several times. My carpet is a very light beige. It has cleaned up major messes with no sign left of the stains. Even my husband and son commented on how well it works. My only issue is the cost of the solution but it’s worth it. Not sure if it would work on white carpet but I don’t understand why people would buy a white rug with dogs. It does not say anywhere that it keeps your dog or cat from bad behavior though..

So a couple months ago, I spilled a full glass of cranberry juice on our light carpeted stairs and I’ll be honest, I was too cheap and lazy to rent a carpet cleaner for it.Well that maroon stain picked up dirt and because this ugly gray crime scene that just happens to be the first thing you see as you walk into our house.It took me about 35 minutes to finish the stairs, mostly because I was dying trying to kneel on them and scrub. Not even a full bucket of cleaner/water needed.I didn’t pre-treat the carpet at all (directions say you can spray it down and let sit for 5 minutes before scrubbing) but I found that I didn’t really need to. It seems to have done the job far better than anything else I’ve used.Now my stairs are less horrifying and smell like fresh springtime. I’m impressed!
