GREAT, ADORABLE TOY WHICH MIGHT NOT BE AFFORDABLE FOR MANY
This is so cute and sturdy and my grandson loves him—he says he is J.J.’s Daddy! My only complaint is the price— I.only buy quality toys but this one was a little too much, which I know is because.of the Cocomelon name.and songs, etc. Great sound and it’s very easy for a toddler to operate. Love the peas!

Happy with this doll
It comes nicely packaged but this is not a display box, so there is not a window to view the product inside. Inside is a super cute doll, a bowl of peas and a spoon. I put batteries in and the doll functions as it should. A tiny bit of a learning curve on the peas and spoon but function properly. The clothes on the doll are nice & will be easy for my granddaughter to remove. . . and for me to keep putting back on. I kept reading “fake” in the reviews but I find nothing wrong with this doll. It’s nicely made and functions properly.

Good, but it needs NEW BATTERIES

I gave JJ to my daughter as an early Christmas present. The peas were difficult for my 4year old. You have to push them in at the right angle so they retract back into the spoon. JJ does not come with batteries. He requires two AAA batteries. I put in some used batteries and he made a terrible skipping noise. At first I thought we got a broken one we would have to send back but it turns out it was just the batteries. Once I put in new batteries, as you can see from the video he works perfectly.

May be fake as some people say, but my 2yo loves it. She also has no problem operating the peas and bowl, even “feeding” them to JJ isn’t hard for her. I’d say my money was well spent with how much time she plays with this doll.

Great except for the spoon
My daughter received this for Christmas and the spoon barely works…maybe 10% of the time. She loves it so much though. Would be 5 stars if it wasn’t for that damn spoon!Update: I contacted the manufacturer and they sent me a replacement spoon and bowl that work great! Great customer service! My 2 yr old daughter loves it!

This thing is amazing! My daughter loves feeding JJ his peas, and singing to him too!I give 3 stars because the shoes are almost IMPOSSIBLE to remove, which takes the fun out of it for her because she’s 2 and doesn’t have the strength of John Cena. Also you have to try pretty hard to push the spoon to JJ’s mouth, but overall she has a great time playing.

The JJ Doll is amazing! Very durable. I love all the songs and phases he says. My 2 year old daughter absolutely loves him. The only con is the spoon. It broke 2 minutes after using it. The pea release lever quit working so the pea bowl and spoon was useless. I had to hide it because she got so upset with it. Now we just use our doll

My grandson loved his JJ doll. The only issue he seemed to have was with the spoon. Getting the peas to retract was hard at first but once he found the sweet spot it was great!

Spoon and peas are basic and cheap
The only reason I’m giving it 2 stars is because my kids like it so much. The spoon and peas are super basic and cheap. To start with, the peas only retract from the spoon about half the time. The times it does work, the spoon has to be tilted at a weird angle when touching it to JJ’s mouth to get it to work. The other half of the time, the spoon has an issue where the peas don’t push out far enough so the little spot that you touch onto JJ’s mouth to make them retract can’t be reached without using a fingernail or something to reach in and do it manually. Now, after only using it for a few days, the spoon and peas don’t work at all. The peas will not come out of the spoon. My kids were really upset. Also, JJ only says a few phrases/songs, and his pants fall off way too easily. I definitely wouldn’t purchase this again.

My son loves JJ in Cocomelon! This was his favorite Christmas gift. Played with it or had it by his side. By late afternoon early evening the feeding spoon no longer worked. I now have an upset kid asking me to “fix it mommy”…..Soooooooooo disappointed it no longer works!I never write reviews but my kid on Christmas Day has a gift that no longer works. This is all about interactive play…except the interactive part broke!

My granddaughter loves him!
We got JJ for our 3 year old granddaughter she loves feeding him. The mechanics of getting the peas in his mouth is a bit hard for her to do but she still enjoys it and she will catch on as she plays with him.

It’s ok
Got this for my two year old son, he played with it for one hour or less and left it alone. Got bored pretty fast. I wish the toy was little flexible and can move hands and legs little loose, it’s very stiff like a cadaver lol cocomelon where do they come up with these names??

So far a great working toy
Not had it long enough to properly rate durability but it seems very well made and well built. The mechanism that allowes the peas to spring into the spoon and back out appears to work very well after one day of heavy use!

My husband luckily found this doll at Walmart for 24.99! I hate that Amazon allows people to sell this for 50! I noticed some differences they have different shirts and the Amazon one looks a little more stubby. It also didn’t work I’ll be returning the Amazon one. But honestly I love cocomelon but don’t overpay for it.

Peas didn’t retract
The peas don’t retract after feeding and the shoes are so hard to get on and off. Other than that our son likes the doll. I’m not going to bother returning it. Plays a couple songs and interacts when you feed it. I bought it so my son could get used to the idea of feeding and dressing

JJ is a toddler’s favorite
I loved that you can feed JJ peas and they are supposed to shoot back in the spoon. The third time my grand daughter tried to feed JJ his peas the spoon stopped working. The angle when feeding the doll has to be just right for the peas to pop back in the spoon. There is no volume control on this doll, which means if you or a child has sensitive hearing you won’t want to play with it for too long.

Over all my kid likes this doll because it’s a recognizable character and it’s fun to feed the doll.Pros: Cute doll with recognizable songs. Clothes can be removed and changed for 12-14 inch doll clothes. Seems durable and easy to clean as it’s made of a hard plastic. Two volume levels.Cons: The baby doesn’t sit easily – it can be forced to sit by an adult, but definitely not by a child. The off switch is in the middle, while the two volumes are on each side, so the child can’t easily turn it off. The button to feed the pees to the baby is extremely difficult to push – my strong two year old cannot do this on his own and my four year old struggles to do it as well. The shoes do come off, but it’s difficult to get them off and back on. The hard plastic makes the doll very stiff so it’s not a cuddly toy that they can carry around.
Need to know –
Flip the switch
If anyone is not aware, the doll comes in a trial mode. Once you put the batteries in, you need to flip the switch to “on”. This will allow you to experience all the features of the doll. The songs are cute. The sound is good. It does take someone older to put the peas in his mouth and there is a really loud pop when they retract. All in all, I’m happy with this product.

Got this for my son for Christmas he is a little under 2 and is obsessed with cocomelon. This is a great toy and he loves it. I gave it 4 stars because to feed the food to jj you have to push the spoon pretty hard which is difficult for a 2 year old

Much like most toys, our son was super excited for all of a day. He’s 5 and loves JJ. The peas were really neat for him for awhile. Our 7 month old got more enjoyment out of the songs than anything. It is a super hard plastic though and quite the head. We have had it since the pre-order shipment so about a week. I’m not quite sure where it is in the toybox, already.

Pricey but daughter loves it
My daughter loves Cocomelon & JJ. I was looking for a doll that can dress up, take off/put on clothes shoes, can be pretend fed, and it led me to this. Pricey maybe because its branded Cocomelon. I bought the used one for $10 less, & it’s like new but no batteries & open box. I agree to other reviews it takes an adult strength to properly use the feeding toy. It’s a nice toy but could be perfect if not too expensive.

The spoon is an issue
The doll itself is ok. But the spoon that holds the peas is an issue. There is a spring loaded mechanism that makes it look like peas are on the spoon when you push it into the bowl. And then they snap back into the handle when you put them up to the dolls mouth. We bought two dolls. One the mechanism is so tight you can nearly get it to snap back. And the other doesn’t want to catch so the peas never stay extended on the spoon. My kids were just happy with a baby JJ doll so we kept it, but they aren’t great.

Unsure if true CoComelon merchandise
We pre-ordered the JJ doll for Christmas. It was sold as an “Amazon exclusive,” however I am not sure the doll is a genuine CoComelon doll. The doll is a little stiff, came without batteries, and was in a box with no window sides. Other official CoComelon items we have came with batteries and were in better packaging. Also, the pea spoon is almost impossible to retract without adult help and the shoes are difficult to remove. The doll is durable and my child is too young to know the difference, I just feel like I was sold something fake, specifically by Amazon.

Good fine motor skills
My son loves JJ as every other parent in the comment section. I was excited to see a feeding version that can help with our meal time. This helps with fine motor skill and develop healthy feeding routine. I’ve had problems in the past with getting my son to use utensils but the fact of the songs and the actual toy it’s made it fun for my son to eat.

Toddler loves it BUT…
The toy is absolutely adorable, my toddler loves it. HOWEVER, the doll does not come with batteries. We bought the batteries and my son started playing and pushing the button on the dolls stomach and was so happy when he heard him talk. After a few pushes of the button the doll will begin to STUTTER. There’s no way to get it to stop unless you completely turn it off. So now he just plays with it off because it makes him sad when JJ stutters.

Great toy. My 4 year old only asked for one thing for Christmas. The JJ doll that eat peas. My only complaint is the spoon doesn’t retract when pressed against the dolls mouth. It did work when we first opened and played with it but worn out very quickly.

I bought this for my daughter because she really wanted a JJ doll. But noticed how quickly she was turned off by it. She said it was hard and stiff and not as playful as she thought. I think it was heavy as well for her. I also think something is wrong with the head, looks like it sunk into its body. Anywho, we got her a nice soft one that we found at CVS and she’s in love!

Great doll
My one year old love it and could interact with him beautifully. Perfect size for her. Box may not be the best, but doll is worth it if you don’t run into deceive ones. It took me twice to get the perfect working doll. This version of the doll clothes-T shirt with the cow picture is the same exact same as jj in the farm episode, so it legit for cocomelon real product. It rather an Amazon exclusive version as compare to Walmart ones with peekaboo bear outfit.

Great toy for Cocomelon fans
Saying that my toddler loves Cocomelon is an understatement! She’s starting to love pretend play and this JJ doll was exactly what she needed! The doll is really quality, the system for the peas works well! I love that his tongue is one button that will be pushed when feeding the peas and having the song and sentences related to that. For the other songs, you can press the bellybutton! My daughter will not leave JJ and she’s even taking him to bed. And bonus points, my toddler is requesting less Cocomelon on TV since she’s playing with this toy!My only small complaint would be that songs are really loud and you can’t adjust the volume!

Super cute but pants won’t stay up!
My daughter Who is 1 and a half adores cocomelon. This doll was a gift for Christmas Gift. She was sooo excited to open it and was just all Smiles and yelling JJ! It was totally worth the money just to see her happy reaction. She lives the songs and how the peas “disappear“ and “reappear.” However the pants just will not stay up and are constantly sliding down. It’s like JJ is constantly trying to moon us. Lol. Other than that one annoying thing it’s a great toy. And really cute. Seems sturdy and durable so far as it’s taken lots of love and the abuse of Being dragged everywhere by my daughter. 🙂

Does what it should… little girl will love it!
I don’t normally write reviews, but after reading all previous reviews and being worried I thought I should. Is it genuine? I don’t know, looks it to me!! If it’s not, it’s a very good fake, that’s all I’ll say. Sound quality is great, all parts were there, it works perfectly fine so far (only put batteries in to try it for a few minutes), so for me, it’s a thumbs up. Feeding the peas does take a bit of working out as normally with dolls it’s straight in, you do need to do a real feeding motion due to the mechanics (but honestly, even for a two year old, a few times of trying, they’ll get it no problem). It was delivered 4 days earlier than advised. This was number 1 on my daughters Santa list, and I was not will you pay the stupid prices that are being advertised! Should mention like others, it does come in a non awe-through box, not even the box, it’s it’s a fake, it’s a good one. I genuinely have no complaints and my gut feeling is that it genuine.
