We use our Blackstone for everything else but when we need to boil water or heat beans, etc. this little guys works great!

Good product. Found a much better price at Walmart. Butane containers are hard to find.

Can be used with a canner!
Not much is said out there whether or not these can be used to can. I have a 23qt Canner and this little stove worked great!You get close to an hour and a half with 1 bottle of butane. I canned at 15psi for 45mins no problem. As for the weight, I only had 3 quart jars inside but assuming I can at least do 6.If you’ve got a glass cooktop that you don’t want to risk canning on, this little stove is awesome. You might need a few bottles of butane if you’re doing a lot of canning but for light canning, perfect.

Buy the way Coleman Tech support is fantastic. I had called them 3 times and can’t …
I didn’t purchase on Amazon as when searched the blue model only came up and they were out of stock. Now I see if I wanted one I would have to wait 1-3 months for Amazon to have in stock so I went to a local Big store and found this model which Coleman tells me is 2014 mode. Buy the way Coleman Tech support is fantastic. I had called them 3 times and can’t say enough. This stove only takes coleman 8.8oz butane like blue model. I tried an 8 oz can size and butane will leak out. The door lock works well but the unit must be level and follow directions on inserting can. Very easy. I got a nice blue flame with tad of yellow when placed on high. 4 cups of water to full boil in 2.5 minutes. I fried and egg in butter in a teflon 8 in. pan and came out perfect. Haven’t done any real cooking but wanted as Emergency back up for my 2 burner Coleman stove. I found the Coleman cans at Walmart and Bass Pro shop. Can order online thru Lowes. Have 90 day to return if problem develop with stove which is nice. Case nice and made fairly solid. I went and looked at many and liked this one the best. If doesn’t work out Camp chief looks nice but case flimsy and locking mechanism hit and miss with store models. Told that butane will not light well below 50 degrees so store at room or cool, dry location. Doesn’t like heat over 110 either. Don’t think would use in house as others have. Nice stove and glad I purchased.

Coleman Butane single burner stove.
After going 10 days without power after Hurricane Fiona stuck Nova Scotia I decided to buy this Coleman single burner butane stove to add to our small camping stove. It arrived Monday in a nice carrying case. We are currently without power due to winds and we used it today to fry our fish cakes for supper and boil water for coffee. Worked great. It’s lightweight and easy to use. Perfect for indoors or camping. I recommend this.
