By the nature of its construction, this light illuminates more than most solar lanterns. The almost honeycomb lantern is mostly open, thereby allowing more light through. Up close, it’s not much to look at, the simple honeycomb pattern and a whitish tube in the middle.At night, this light really “shines.” (See what I did there?) We have a big yard, and have placed some of our solar lights a good distance from the house. At a distance, these by far look way better than other lights, because you can really see them.They’re still great up close, but if they’re close I prefer for them to be a little more hidden, so you mainly see them at night.They last long into the night, too.I would recommend these lights.

We were surprised to find that the DONLINE Solar Flickering Flame Lanterns are so entertaining to watch. The light looks very much like a Flickering Flame and the Lanterns added a nice touch to our patio.Conclusion: DONLINE Solar Flickering Flame Lanterns are recommended

This solar light is delightful. I can stare at it for hours as if it were a real fire. It really adds a lovely touch outside however I’ve been using it inside as a nice fire like ambience. Love this little solar light.
