I have a lot of hair. A LOT. Like, wow, who is that Wookiee over there LOTS. I have looked into having a third arm surgically implanted (Is this a thing? Who would do it? Vascular surgery? Orthopedic surgery? These are the questions that keep me up at night🤔) because my shoulders are so tired holding up a dryer and a round brush for eternity. I briefly considered making a workout video (“Toned Arms: the Hairdryer Workout”), but was informed by fitness people that there isn’t a market for a 75-minute focus on the anterior deltoids. I almost have to wake up BEFORE I GO TO SLEEP in order to have enough time to dry my hair before work. This thing took me 8 minutes. I naturally assumed, upon finishing, that I had entered some sort of Amazon-created beauty time warp. I checked with my husband, in the next room, and in fact I did not go through a blowout wormhole. The silkier-than-silk style was accomplished by this miracle of a brush in 8 minutes (several more minutes were lost to running my hands through my hair and flicking it over my shoulder while smiling coquettishly in the mirror). If you struggle with an over abundance of hair like I do, seriously consider giving this amazing contraption a try.

I never write reviews for anything much, but this one has caught my eye, and I finally decided to write about it.I’ve been trying to grow my natural hair out the healthy way.My natural hair is short, to my shoulders. And I gave up using blow hair dryers.I do use hair straightener so I can put in my clip in hair extensions daily. But this product has caught my eye on cyber Monday sale, and I read the reviews of other peoples. And decided to purchase it, and give it a try. A lot of people were saying how it feels like you just got out of a hair salon blow dry.So of course, I had to give it a try.I do believe, this is a big size for my own hair because I have short hair, but in all it’s amazing.I just took a shower, washed my hair, and decided to blow dry it with this brush. And let me tell you…..I AM SO IN LOVE…LITERALLY.I don’t know much about how to blow dry my hair, but I did how I could, and it still gave me volume, and a style I like and went for.And my hair does feel like I just got out of a hair salon.I hope to see that it lasts of course, but after the first time, it made me happy, and I had to come on here and write the review😊Thank you Revlon!!!Happy Russia Girl for sure😊I am not telling people to buy it, feel free just to read my review, and maybe there’s someone other just like me, goes and purchases a product by reading peoples reviews, and then will not get disappointed about purchasing at all😊I get nothing back for this review, but I am happy to share my own excitement, and I hope someone else does the same 👍😊

This is the first hair product I have ever purchased on Amazon based solely on reviews. I recently lost almost 100lbs and got a hair cut to match my boosted confidence. I have very thick and frizzy hair that usually has no body, but lots of wave. I’ve been using the same hair straightener for the last 8 or 9 years and it works great but I have bad carpal tunnel and blow-drying my hair then straightening it hurt me so bad and took forever and it was still frizzy! Imagine a dark brown qtip- on my head! It’s bad! But after reading several reviews and watching videos about this item, I decided to take the leap of faith and buy it, along with the heat spray. I am so excited I did! No regerts at all! 🤣 Literally the only thing I would change is the location of rhe button. When I’m styling my hair with this tool, the button gets turned and it cuts off of goes to cool. Kinda aggravating! But other than that, it’s 10/10!Update: after having it for a month or so now and using it all the time, I thought I’d come back for another review. This product still exceeds my expectations! I washed my hair last night and didn’t do anything to it so when I woke up, I literally had a mess all over my head! Completely unmanageable! Just a frizzy bush! Frizzy ain’t even the word, it was so much worse! Medusa type! Horrible! Well this morning, I misted my hair with the heat spray and used this product just to basically “worst case scenario” test its capabilities. And let me tell you, after 3 to 5 minutes, my frizzy Medusa mess was tamed and looked like I spent hours and HOURS fixing it! It’s smooth and shiny and soft and gorgeous! I don’t take good selfies but you get my point. I absolutely adore this product! Such high ratings for something that is reasonably priced and in my book, its priceless!

A breakdown of this productPROS:1. The matte handle: amazing to have to keep oils from making the handle slippery2. Oval shape: it curls and straightens all in one (well lets be honest, multiple) motion.3. Swivel cord: prevents the cord from being tangled through rotational movementsCONS:1. it is not super lightweight. When I blow dry my hair in the back and have to lift my hair up above my head… lets say it’s a workout2. It gets really HOT when on the highest setting. I truly recommend using the low/medium setting for your hair.Overall, I am blown away by the volume it gave my hair and the smoothness and waves at the end. 10/10 would recommendSome Tips:1. Use some heat protectant spray before blow drying because the heat is very close to your hair and can cause damage.2. Sectioning your hair while blow drying to make sure each level gets the full effect of the blow out3. Use an oil right after! It will give your hair more shine. (I use jojoba and Moroccan oil)3. CLEAN your hair from the blow dryer brush after use. The build up of hair and dust and oils can make this beauty turn gross very quick. The extra 3-5 minutes of cleaning out the hairs are worth it.

For context, I am lazy when it comes to hair and makeup. I don’t have a million tools and I’m not equipped with extra skills and tricks, lol. I usually let my hair dry and straighten or curl it after, usually the next day. Blow drying my hair is torture for me, and then having to heat style after? Even worse. I bought this on a whim on sale, and I was pretty sure I wasn’t going to like it. And when I started, I was sure I was right. BUT. I changed my mind. I went from direct from the shower wet hair to DRY and good to go hair in about 20-25 minutes. That’s gotta be some kind of record. It was shiny, soft, and smooth. My hair is thin, but there’s a lot of it, and it’s long. The full power mode was too hot and too loud for my personal preference, and the low setting did a great job.

Best summarized, “Where has this Revlon volumizer/dryer been all my life?” I added this to my cart because it was on sale, but I was doubtful and forgot to remove it before making my other purchases. Best mistake ever. My hair is fine but thick and curly. Previously, before this Revlon volumizer, and after usual blow drying with a dryer, I had to use a flat iron or it would frizz within an hour. This is SO different, and my hair loves it. I’ve shelved my older (high end) dryer and flat iron for this one, single volumizer/dryer for daily use. My hair remains bouncy and volumized to my desire throughout the day WITH NO FRIZZ. And I’ve cut my drying and styling time down by 75%.I was originally doubtful about this purchase because of a few reviews that said it was difficult to use on less than shoulder length hair. Mine is layered, just above the shoulder and I’ve had no problems. I could envision it also working very nicely with a below the chin bob. I do allow my hair to air dry slightly before using it, but it even takes care of the stubborn curls that begin to form before drying. I also use it for next day touch ups after spritzing my hair with a little distilled water.Other reviews indicated this Revlon device is hard to control because of where the settings are. It’s not a problem for me to look at the settings, just as I would any hair device. And, I love the cool setting which has a good, high air flow and I find it’s good as a final drying/volumizing step. It also cools the device down so it can be packed safely. That’s important because on the high setting, it does get hot.All said, I’m so glad I purchased my Revlon. At any price, it’s absolutely unbeatable.

I have been drying my hair with a round brush for years and it never occurred to me to do any different, but this dryer/brush combo is a game-changer for my morning routine. It doesn’t really cut down on the time but it is so much easier on my arms. My hair is long and fine so I only use the medium setting and it works great, however, if I am in a hurry I flip my head over and dry my hair for a couple of minutes with the regular dryer to shorten the dry time with the brush. In some of the reviews I read that the brush gives more body and volume but my hair is so fine that it depends on the products I use and the humidity, not my mode of drying, so I can’t say that it helped in that aspect. If you have long hair you know what a pain it is to round brush, so if you want to give your arms a break and do it the easy way I would recommend this dryer/brush.I did try to use it on my long bangs and I couldn’t get the look I want without using the round brush and the regular dryer – so if you have shorter hair then I would recommend the smaller brush that they sell or you will just have straight hair (if your hair is fine).

I have weak hands, and this allows me to dry my hair without my hands hurting as much. I would suggest using a heat protectant on your hair before you start drying your hair as this gets really hot. I use the medium setting and it is fine. Seems to also take away the frizziness. I wish it had two things . . . one is that is does get hot and the end is hard to touch after a while, so I wish it didn’t get so hot; two is I wish it had a smaller brush as I have above shoulder length hair and feel it would be better for me. Be sure once it cools down to clean out the hair before your next use.

My hair is long and thick and it’s frankly a chore to wash and dry it. It’s easily an hour long process. I was hoping this dryer would reduce that time. It succeeded beyond my wildest expectations. This thing is a game changer! It definitely reduced dry time by half at least. Probably much more. It also has a really nice design. I don’t have to worry about accidentally turning it off when I’m using it. It has lots of useful settings which are easy to set. I haven’t traveled with it yet but I can easily see how this could replace a hairdryer and a brush and a curling iron. Brilliant! I can’t wait to try it out on my next trip. if you’re thinking of buying this, don’t give it another thought. Just do it!

I was so skeptical of this thing the first time I bought it and then I realized it was going to be my hair’s hero! I started my hair journey with the original, but then it died after a year and a half of heavy usage. I got the “new and improved 2.0” which wasn’t so spectacular. The head is detachable for cleaning, but I broke a piece off of it somehow and it wasn’t stable. I’m now back to the original and I can’t wait to do my hair and burn my fingers! It always happens to me, I should invest in heat proof gloves!
